Daybreak
Stemming from Michiana Resources' over thirty-year history of assisting
and supporting populations with special needs, Daybreak combines the best
in quality services with all the amenities of home. Housed in a beautifully renovated section of Michiana Resources, the Daybreak area was designed especially with the needs of its participants in mind. The vintage decor is homey and inviting and includes many items of memorabilia that evoke memories, familiarity, and feelings of security. Services are rendered by friendly, skilled staff, who have been trained according to guidelines established by the National Adult Day Services Association (NADSA), which is a division of the National Council on Aging (NCOA). Daybreak offers many and varied activities that integrate past life styles and are designed to address the needs of those attending, including educational, computer technology, recreational, social, spiritual, community and wellness components. Hours and specific services are based on the expressed needs of those attending and their families. We will assist you in identifying funding sources. Daybreak also has a sliding scale that allows us to offer discounts to qualified participants. Hourly (includes snack) Half day (1 snack and lunch) Full day (2 snacks and lunch) When space is available, a participant may attend extra sessions for
the convenience of the caregiver. The usual fee for that time will be
added to the next month's bill.
