Labor Secretary Chao issued a Press Release March 29, 2001 announcing the creation of the Employment Assistance Referral Network (EARN). This is a national toll-free telephone and electronic information referral service for employers who are seeking to hire workers with disabilities. EARN is designed to assist employers in locating potential employees with disabilities in their own area.

EARN also offers employers technical assistance services such as tax credits, disability laws, recruitment and hiring strategies, as well as co-workers attitudes,

Michiana Resources, Inc. in its continuing effort to reach employers, is registered with EARN as a provider of Employment Services.
